These are rough times in our country. If we cannot stand in solidarity with our black brothers and sisters, then what are we doing? Racism is not okay. Systemic racism needs to be blown up. We need to be calling out our friends, families, and businesses who use, even subtly, racists language or racists actions. It's time.
This shirt will be sold at cost. I will not allow my business to profit off of this the way that other veteran businesses use social issues to make a profit. We have a responsibility to lead by example. We chose to serve and swore an oath to defend the Constitution of the United States. We did not swear to defend this race, that race, this religion, that religion, this language, that language, this political party, or that political party. We defended the Constitution. In the Constitution it states:
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness
George Floyd had those unalienable rights ripped from him at the hands of a person that swore to protect and defend.
Let's stand together with our black brothers and sisters in these trying times. Rise up!
